Description
I have a penchant for the rare and unusual so when this stone landed on my lap, I just had to have it! I love how fluid the overall shape is, and how its a hybrid between a rose and a portrait cut. From the top, you can discern a star facet pattern on the table yet you can see right through the stone, like a portrait cut. The stone also goes from a bright yellow to a pale yellow, depending upon the lighting. I would suggest setting this diamond in either a bezel, a solitaire with fierce claw prongs, a collet setting in yellow gold, or a pendant or bangle.
